This site (temeculasolarsavings.com) provides free solar savings estimates for homeowners in Southern California Edison (SCE) territory.

Information We Collect

When you use our savings calculator, we may collect:

Utility information: monthly SCE bill amount and homeownership status
Communication preferences: whether you consent to receive SMS messages

Email Communications

After submitting the calculator form, you will receive a series of emails with your savings estimate and related solar information. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. You can opt out at any time by clicking that link. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act — all commercial emails include our physical mailing address and a working unsubscribe mechanism. Unsubscribe requests are processed immediately.

SMS Communications

We only send SMS messages if you explicitly check the SMS consent box on our form. Messages are sent between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Pacific Time in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies but typically does not exceed 6 messages over 45 days.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

Freedom Forever LLC: to prepare your solar proposal and, if you choose to proceed, to install your solar system
Service providers: email delivery (Resend), SMS delivery (Twilio), data storage (Supabase), and website hosting (Vercel) — each bound by their own privacy policies
Legal requirements: if required by law, subpoena, or government request

Data Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with Row Level Security (RLS) policies. Access is restricted to authorized service accounts. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
Request deletion of your personal information
Opt out of the sale of your personal information (we do not sell it)
Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights
